My client is a renowned legal firm and they are actively seeking a seasoned Systems Engineer to join their expanding team, with a focus on enhancing and maintaining their Windows infrastructure.

Responsibilities: As a Senior Windows Engineer, you will be responsible for the following:

  1. iManage Experience:
    • Utilize iManage for document and email management to ensure seamless workflow for legal professionals.
  2. Windows Server Administration:
    • Manage and administer Windows servers, including Active Directory, Group Policy, image deployments, Veeam/backup systems, SQL, IIS, VMware, and VxRail if possible.
    • Demonstrate expertise in disaster recovery (DR) procedures.
  3. Networking Experience:
    • Possess strong networking skills, including switching, routing, and firewall management.
    • Familiarity with Route 53 for external DNS, Palo Alto Firewalls, Meraki, Cisco, Dell, Ruckus, Brocade, or equivalent network equipment.
Bonus Points: 
  1. Application Support:
    • Provide support for legal-specific applications, including Aderant, Relativity, and proficiency with SQL, especially clusters.
    • Experience with Horizon, Zoom (VOIP and meetings), Azure AD/Entra, Office 365, Mimecast, Darktrace, Sophos, Forcepoint, Tenable, ViRecruit, PDQ, SCCM, WSUS, Smart Deploy, Kaseya, and Global Protect.
  2. Law Firm Experience:
    • Previous experience working in a law firm environment is highly desirable.
  3. Security Experience:
    • Possess a strong understanding of security principles and practices.
    • Implement and manage security solutions such as Sophos, Forcepoint, Tenable, and others.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a Senior Windows Engineer with expertise in the specified technologies.
  • Familiarity with legal-specific applications and workflows.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Security certifications and experience are a plus.
