A fortune 500 company that provides both commercial and casualty insurance products is hiring for their professional services wing. They are hiring a Senior DevOps Engineer to help them with a major cloud migration.
This DevOps team works with various third parties to develop, integrate, and support insurance system operations.
The current initiative is various on-prem to cloud migrations in Azure primarily and some AWS. They’re looking for team members with strong Kubernetes, Terraform, scripting in Python, Bash or GO and a good understanding of Azure permissions, contracts and subscriptions. This will be a long term contract or contract-to-hire with benefits. Ideally candidates are local to one of their office locations, preferably Wilmington, DE for occasional onsite visits.

Required Skills & Experience
- 6-8+ years of professional cloud migration experience, or working in DevOps, Site Reliability, Cloud Engineering or similar
- Experience with cloud environments, Azure, AWS, GCP-Azure preferred
- Strong Terraform skills or similar tools for IaC
- containerization with Kubernetes and/or Docker
- CI/CD pipelining using Jenkins, Azure DevOps, Git
- SDLC
- Agile
- Strong scripting skills with Python, Powershell, bash, etc
- BS in Computer Science or STEM degree
- Prior Insurance experience
- Proven leadership experience with on-prem to cloud migrations
