Application Security Architect - Philly Hybrid

A Biopharma corporation based in Philadelphia is currently in search of a Senior Application Security Architect to join their security team. This position calls for an seasoned individual in application security, involving elements of security, DevOps, and software development. The ideal candidates should have a background in software development to be able to collaborate effectively with the development team. Proficiency in DevOps is indispensable, as frequent collaboration with the DevOps team is expected (involving infrastructure as code, containerization, and CI/CD pipelines). Expertise in SAST/DAST and OWASP Top 10 is essential. Required Skills & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Cybersecurity, or relate field
• 4+ years development experience
• High-level understanding of OWASP
• High-level understanding of SAST/DAST

Desired Skills & Experience

• Understanding of encryption
• Cloud security (AWS)
• Exceptional communication skills
