Senior Frontend Engineer / React / Chicago

This company is seeking a Senior Frontend Engineer to join their web development team. This is a full-time employment opportunity based in Chicago, IL.

This rapidly growing company in the transportation industry looks to connect customers to their workforce of movers to revolutionize the industry. They’re looking to add a member to their web development team to own one of the consumer-facing features. As the Senior Frontend Engineer, you’ll work closely with the Team Lead to help add new features and scale their web presence as the company takes on new B2B partners. You’ll be hands on with React.js, but any experience with Node.js, React Native, or other JavaScript adjacent tools is a plus. Required Skills & Experience

• 5+ years of experience using React
• 4+ years of experience working on consumer-facing web applications
• B.S. or B.A. in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field
• Experience owning a component or entire project
• Strong conviction and communication skills

Desired Skills & Experience

• 2+ years of experience using Node.js
• 2+ years of experience using React Native
• 2+ years of experience using Next.js
• Experience helping a company scale
