MDI Group is actively seeking a Network Engineer for one of their top clients. The Senior Network Engineer will work closely with leadership, data center operations and R&D team. The Network Engineer should meet the following skills and requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Telecommunications or a related field with a minimum of 7 years of relevant experience
- Minimum of CCNA certification required
- Must be available to work nights and weekends as the position requires
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Must possess the following technical skills and abilities:
- Cisco Catalyst Ethernet Switches (2960, 3750, 4500)
- Cisco Nexus Switches (2k, 5k, 7k) experience is a plus
- Cisco Routers (2821)
- Cisco ASA Firewalls
- WAN optimization
- Protocols: TCP/IP, WCCP, Policy Based Routing, BGP-4, OSPF, IGRP, RIP, HTTP, HTTPS, SSL, TLS, 802.1x, 802.11a/g/n, PKI, VoIP, SIP, PoE, Fiber Channel / FCIP, VLAN, MPLS, Ethernet, and QoS.
- VPN (Site-to-site and Client)
- NIDS/IPS
- Load Balancers (F5 Big IP LTM/GTM)
- Syslog
- Wireshark or other packet sniffer
- Authentication, Authorization, Accounting (RADIUS, ACS)
- Network Management System
- MS Visio
