Senior Network Engineer/Cisco

As a Senior Network Engineer, you will play a crucial role in designing, implementing, and maintaining our Network Infrastructure. You will be responsible for ensuring the stability, security, and optimal performance of the network systems. The ideal candidate will bring extensive experience in network architecture, troubleshooting, and project management.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Network Design and Implementation:

   • Design, implement, and manage complex network architectures that meet the business requirements and support future growth.
   • Evaluate and recommend new technologies to enhance network capabilities.

2. Network Security:

   • Implement and maintain robust security measures to protect against unauthorized access, data breaches, and other security threats.
   • Conduct regular security audits and implement necessary measures to address vulnerabilities.

3. Network Monitoring and Optimization:

   • Monitor network performance and proactively address issues to ensure optimal uptime and reliability.
   • Identify opportunities for optimization and efficiency improvements.

4. Troubleshooting and Support:

   • Provide advanced technical support for network-related issues and incidents.
   • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve complex problems and implement effective solutions.

5. Documentation:

   • Create and maintain comprehensive network documentation, including diagrams, configurations, and procedures.
   • Train and mentor junior team members on network best practices.

6. Project Management:

   • Lead and participate in network-related projects, ensuring timely and successful completion.
   • Collaborate with other teams to integrate network solutions into larger IT initiatives.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• years of proven experience as a Network Engineer.
• In-depth knowledge of network protocols, routing, switching, and security.
• Experience with Cisco, Juniper, or other leading networking equipment.
• Strong understanding of firewall technologies and intrusion detection/prevention systems.
• Industry certifications such as CCNP, CCIE, or equivalent are a plus.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
